I will come back asap.
There are not many people in Sri Lanka, and possibly the world with the knowledge that Vincent has when it comes to anything nautical. Along with over 30 years diving experience, logging thousands and thousands of dives, he also boasts incredible navigation and boat captain skills knowing hundreds of diving and fishing spots by memory only – no GPS needed. It goes without saying that a master like Vincent is invaluable to the diving operation and is currently well on his way to earning his official Divemaster status to match his impressive record. He is now our primary boat captain, sharing his energy and stories with customers and divers alike every day, in the place that he can call home from home, at the helm of the boat.
James Clark - (PADI IDC Staff Instructor)
James is a young and enthusiastic British Instructor who began his scuba diving life in the Middle East, building his way through thePADI courses and eventually deciding that the scuba big was too great to stop. After a thorough and in-depth Divemaster course lasting over 6 months he then made the next logical step in his underwater career by taking the Instructor Development Course and passing the Instructors Exam first time. He then moved to a permanent Instructor and Management role building up a vast experience to add to his in-depth knowledge about diving before travelling to the idylalic Thailand to teach diving on a freelance basis on the Islands of Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. After almost a year he then made his way to the shores of Sri Lanka where he is currently enjoying being part of the Sinhala community, learning more about diving in a new area and continuing to transform people’s lives as they take the plunge into diving as the only instructor at the centre.
Sherik Fernando - (Managing Director
PADI & SSI Assistant Instructor)
Having growing up on the beaches of Negombo, Sherik started working life in and around the fishing scene where he learnt many key skills that still serve him well today. Just like his father before him, he is a more than capable boat captain, knowing all the dive sites worth knowing in Negombo, and even most of the diving areas in Sri Lanka. Diving was an inevitable career path for Sherik after being introduced to the sport by his father at an early age, and then finally getting the chance to take up diving officially through the PAD & SSI ladder in 2010, where he has currently gotten to a professional level of Assistant Instructor, now dividing his time between being boat captain, shop manager and teaching SSI Discover Scuba Dive courses.
